Sangla ( Baspa Valley)

One of the most scenic valleys in Himalayas !!!!

Roughly 8 hrs drive from Shimla lies Baspa Valley. The baspa river bisects the valley which is surrounded by Oak and Pine Forest. There is something unique about it and you can only experience when you reach here.

These are actual images and you will see the region as is. There are seasonal variations though but if you understand how the spring / summer /autumn changes the landscape in the himalayas then you can easily predict ..

Sangla / Baspa valley is closed during winters once the region receives snowfall. Most camps are also closed in winters .. Some hotels are operational though …

Apple harvesting time is around Sept end / October. So if you like to pluck apples directly from the trees then this is your time.

Avoid Sangla during peak summer holiday i.e. May / Early June if you don’t like crowd
