Here’s our personal curation of the top hotels in Uttarakhand. As Uttarakhand opens its borders to travellers, we cannot contain our excitement. Our feet have been itching to travel and our souls have been crying for the mountains. However, we strongly recommend travelling safely and following the rules listed down by the state for travellers –
- All visitors must register themselves on the Smart City web portal.
- You don’t need a permit or an approval, but registration details will be checked at the border posts/airports. This is likely for contact tracing in the future.
- You will need to download and use the Aarogya Setu app.
- There are no restrictions on movement within the state.
- If you’re staying at a hotel/homestay/B&B, you need a minimum 7-day stay. This requirement may be waived if you have a COVID negative test from an ICMR-authorised lab no more than 72 hrs prior to arrival in Uttarakhand.
If you do decide to travel and wander into the marvellous state of Uttarakhand (Read : Why Rishikesh should be your first travel destination after COVID-19), consider putting up at one of our FAVOURITE properties.
