Firstly, the driver for our trip, Namgyal was super. Very safe and totally professional.

The accommodation organised in Leh, Pangong , Nubra and TsoMoriri was very good - with exceptional service and often very good food. Also, Sunil prepared us well for potential altitude sickness.

Of course, Ladakh itself is pristine and not overly commercialised yet. We have traveled on vacations across the globe and this trip was undoubtedly one of the best . Thanks to Unwind Outdoors for facilitating this

Itinerary

Day 1: Your Ladakh winter trip begins when you arrive at the Leh Airport. Rest of the day relax at the hotel and follow guidelines for AMS prevention. Early check-in is allowed in Leh.
Day 2: An interesting day in Leh, We will watch a game of Ice Hockey and then walk on the Frozen Zanskar River. Later we go to explore the Ice Stupa.
Day 3: Today we drive towards Tanglung La to witness the glorious Ice Stupa. The brainchild of Sonam Wangchuk which solves the Ladakh water problem in Spring Season

Day 4: Drive via Khardung La to Nubra Valley with an overnight stay. Since the journey could be unpredictable owing to the amount of snow. We will take it as it comes and relaxes at the hotel in the evening.
Day 5: We Will explore at leisure the Nubra Valley. the Sand Dunes, The Diskit Monastery & Diskit Local Market, and even the local Hunder Village and get a glimpse of how life is in winters in these remote areas
Day 6: We drive back to the comfort of Leh today. Centrally heated rooms / hot shower after exploring the white wonderland of Ladakh
Day 7: Take the return flight home ..
