My family and I vacationed in Ladakh with Unwind Outdoor in May 2017. It was a magical experience. Sunil's arrangements were excellent and the memories will last for a lifetime. We flew to Leh and visited Nubra , TsoMoriri and Pangong.

Firstly, the driver for our trip, Namgyal was super. Very safe and totally professional.

The accommodation organised in Leh, Pangong , Nubra and TsoMoriri was very good - with exceptional service and often very good food. Also, Sunil prepared us well for potential altitude sickness.

Of course, Ladakh itself is pristine and not overly commercialised yet. We have traveled on vacations across the globe and this trip was undoubtedly one of the best . Thanks to Unwind Outdoors for facilitating this

Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Chandigarh and drive to Manali. Your base location will be away from the chaos in a tranquil location.
Day 2 : Trek to Beaskund .. it is impossible to do this trek in snow due the distance and the barrier being put which does not allow cars to go beyond Solang. Solang to Dhundi will be walk on the road for about 7 kms. You can cover this distance in 2 hrs as the walk is of mild gradient. From Dhundhi the trek begins and depending on your fitness you go as far as you can and then return. You will have a fantastic view of snow capped mountains.

Day 3 : Towards Brighu Lake or Gulaba summit :- We will drive till Kothi and then begin the hike to Gulaba summit. This will be a moderate intensity trek all through in snow to reach the Gulaba summit. The round trip from Kothi to Gulaba and back should take you about 7-8 hrs depending on snow condition and your fitness. If your fitness is less or you do not have the right shoes/clothing you may not be able to reach the summit

Day 4 : Patalsu :- Trek starts from Solang itself. It is a tough trek for one day. One has to climb from 2500 m to 4200 m. We walk first towards the old Solang village and then hike beyond to the ridges all through snow till we reach the summit. You will get glorious view of the seven sisters peak from this hike
Day 5 : A Day to Unwind and Relax, visit the market or local sites or just chill !!
Day 6 : Drive back to Chandigarh . Plan your departure by evening train or evening flight after 5 PM. Kindly do not plan a departure before 5 PM. Trip Ends
