My family and I vacationed in Ladakh with Unwind Outdoor in May 2017. It was a magical experience. Sunil's arrangements were excellent and the memories will last for a lifetime. We flew to Leh and visited Nubra , TsoMoriri and Pangong.
Firstly, the driver for our trip, Namgyal was super. Very safe and totally professional.
The accommodation organised in Leh, Pangong , Nubra and TsoMoriri was very good - with exceptional service and often very good food. Also, Sunil prepared us well for potential altitude sickness.
Of course, Ladakh itself is pristine and not overly commercialised yet. We have traveled on vacations across the globe and this trip was undoubtedly one of the best . Thanks to Unwind Outdoors for facilitating this

Itinerary
- Day 1 : Your Ladakh winter trip begins when you arrive at the Leh Airport. Rest of the day relax at the hotel and follow guidelines for AMS prevention. Early check in are allowed in Leh.
- Day 2: An interesting day in Leh, We will watch a game of Ice Hockey and then walk on the Frozen Zanskar River. Later we go to explore the Ice Stupa.
- Day 3: Drive via Khardung La to Nubra Valley with an overnight stay. The journey could be unpredictable due to the amount of snow. We will take it as it comes and relax at the hotel in the evening.
- Day 4: Challenging long day of drive via Shyok to witness the frozen lake The great Pangong Tso. Be Ready as the temperatures will be extreme below -25 deg C
- Day 5: After exploring the lake in the morning, we head for our next destination via Chushul and Tsaga La and into Hanle. The landscape will be breathtaking today. Another day of extreme temperatures.
- Day 6: We explore another beauty of the Changthang Region, the Tso Moririi Lake via the Tso Kyagar Lake. We settle for the night at Chumathang
- Day 7 : We drive back to the comfort of Leh today. Centrally heated rooms / hot shower after exploring the white wonderland of Ladakh
- Day 8 : Take the return flight home ..
