This centrally located cafe receives rave reviews for its coffee and tea. The coffee is freshly sourced and roasted and one can enjoy a cup while watching the bustling Leh market. A good idea is to go to the cafe for breakfast as they have one of the best available in town. The owners are warm people which further adds to the charm of the place. Without a doubt, the place serves the best coffee in town. It is in fact, known to be one of the very few places that actually serves authentic coffee. If you’re up for experimenting, try their Hazelnut Latte or Cafe Americano.

Brazil Cafe
One of the few cafes open even in the winter months, Brazil cafe has a great rooftop view over Leh. They also serve amazing cakes and ginger-honey-lemon tea, which one should definitely try if coffee isn’t for them. With vegan and gluten free options, there is something for everyone. Lala’s Cafe
A favourite with foreign travellers, Lala’s cafe is a revelation in a seemingly desolate exterior. Part of a Ladakhi house that was saved from being demolished, the cafe provides outstanding views of Leh Palace that you can sit and stare at while devouring the butter tea or Khambir. The floor seating adds to the charming atmosphere of the place. Inquire about the weekly momo making and weaving classes conducted here!

YAMA COFFEE HOUSE
Located on Chanspa road, the Yama coffee house is one of the most famous in Leh. And with good reason! A simple and fuss free drop in spot for coffee and snacks, one can spend the afternoon reading a book here or have a quick lunch. You could even choose to work from here as the wifi is speedy and reliable. All in all, it checks all the boxes with good food, good coffee, warm and prompt service and a casual setting.

COFFEE TREE CAFE & ADVENTURE HUB
One of the newer coffee joints in Leh, the Coffee Tree Cafe & Adventure Hub is a one of a kind place. The sunlighting streaming in through the glass panes give the place a warm cosy feeling and the artsy interiors, with low seating where one can stretch their legs, add to it. The outdoor seating is spread out over a large open space where ducks and rabbits freely roam. If all this wasn’t enough, they also offer some great coffee and snacks. Check this place out for an offbeat feel of Ladakh.
